- Pick Up a Paper Copy
A limited number of a paper copies of your collection schedule will be available at Markham Recycling Depots
- Collection Frequency
Remember to have your material out at the curb by 7 AM on your pickup day or after 7 PM the night before.
- Recycling (Blue Box): Collected once a week
- Organics (Green Bin): Collected once a week
- Clear Bag Garbage: Collected every other week
- Bulky Items: Collected every other week
- Yard material: Collected every other week (April to December)
- Holiday Collection
Statutory holidays can impact your pickup day. Whenever a holiday falls between Tuesday and Friday, your collection will shift to the following day. For example, on Good Friday there will be no collection. Friday Areas A & B, will be collected one day later on Saturday.
